Predictions

106
2-time Region Champ Tyler Klinsky of Middletown North is the top-seed, and the heavy favorite. He already holds wins, with bonus, over #2 Cole Meyer (Wall) and #3 Sam Nini (Allentown).

#1 Joey Lamparelli (Allentown) is a 2-time State Qualifier and returning Region Champ. #2 Travis Kotelnicki (Northern Burlington) punched a ticket to AC last season after finishing 3rd in the Region last season. Despite defeating #4 Nick Torre (Pt Boro) in the D23 Finals, Joseph Conlon (Long Branch) was seeded 7th due to a triangle between them and #5 Demetri Poniros (Ocean Twp).

ANONYMOUS: Lamparelli (Allentown)

120
Top-seeded Nico Messina (Freehold Boro) is a 2-time State Qualifier, and a returning R6 Champ. #2 Drake Torrington (Robbinsville) and #3 Joseph Fiordaliso (Monroe) split a pair of decisions this season, with Fiordaliso winning at the Walter Woods, and Torrington responding with a win in a dual meet.

126
2-time State Qualifier, Ryan Zimmerman of Long Branch, is the lone returning Region medal winner in this weight, and the strong favorite. The rest of this field is pretty wide open, as evidenced by an 8-3 victory for #12 AJ Benner (Ocean Twp) over #2 Michael Bilardo (Monroe), and a win by #6 Michael Lonnay (Raritan) over #3 Jacob Glantzman (Wall) & #4 Avery Clarke (Freehold Twp) in last week's District semis.

PICKS
DESPO: 1. Zimmerman (Long Branch) / 2. Lonnay (Raritan) / 3. Clarke (Freehold Twp) / 4. Bilardo (Monroe)
ANONYMOUS: Zimmerman (Long Branch)

132
Undefeated #1 Bryan Miraglia (Delran), a returning R6 Champ, established himself as the clear favorite here with a 7-2 win over #2 Jack Nies (Ocean Twp) in last week's D24 final.

The Top 3 seeds here are the D24 Top 3. #3 Alex Poniros (Ocean Twp) placed 7th in the state last season, is still battling through an injury that forced him to miss most of the regular season. He was defeated by #2 Corey Fernandez of Monroe in last week's D24 semis, who in turn was beaten in the finals by undefeated #1 Craig Cook (Burlington Twp).

PICKS
DESPO: 1. Cook (Burlington Twp) / 2. Poniros (Ocean Twp) / 3. Bailey (Pt Boro) / 4. Fernandez (Monroe)
ANONYMOUS: Cook (Burlington Twp)

145
Top-seeded Luke Rada (Colts Neck) is looking for a return trip to the boardwalk after missing last season's post-season. Rada defeated #2 Ty Bailey (Pt Boro) back in December, 6-4. Bailey is looking for his 2nd Region medal, after placing 4th in last year's tournament.

#1 Spencer Robinson (Pt Boro) is a 2-time State Qualifier. Allentown's Nick Golden received the #2 seed on the strength of a win over Nottingham's Jerry Andaluz, a returning State Qualifier, in this year's Mercer County Tournament. At the 4-seed is Monroe's undefeated Ian McCabe who is a legit threat to win it here.

PICKS
DESPO: 1. McCabe (Monroe) / 2. Andaluz (Nottingham) / 3. Robinson (Pt Boro) / 4. Golden (Allentown)

Perhaps the deepest weight here. Undefeated, #1 Garret Bilgrav (Robbinsville), and #3 George Burdick (Raritan) were both a single win away from the Boardwalk Hall podium last season. Northern Burlington's Anthony Giampietro jumped into the #2 seed on the strength of his D21 Finals win by fall over Burdick. Bilgrav defeated Giampietro, 12-5, back in mid January.

PICKS
DESPO: 1. Bilgrav (Robbinsville) / 2. Giampietro (Northern Burlington) / 3. Burdick (Raritan) / 4. Weikel (Monroe)

Another pretty wide open weight, as you can make a case for about a half dozen guys to win here, and perhaps a case for any of them to reach the podium.

4 of the Top 5 seeds here have been to the boardwalk. #1 Jacob Anderson (Middletown North) was a win away from a State medal last season. Undefeated #2 Tommy Hill (Northern Burlington) has wins over State qualifiers, #4 Ryan Brazill (Bordentown) and #5 Justin Acevedo (Raritan). An injury default win over Brazill allowed Delran's Zachery Bohn to jump into the #3 seed, sandwiched between the four returning State qualifiers.

2-time State Qualifier, Jajuan Hayes (Bordentown), was the R6 Champ at this weight last season. Undefeated #2 Billy Borowsky (Pt Boro) is looking for a return trip to the boardwalk after finishing 3rd at 195 in R6 last season. If the seeds hold, Borowsky would have a rematch with #3 Steve Cmielewski (RBC), who he defeated 3-2 in the Shore Conference Tournament.
