Weight To Watch
From top to bottom, there may be some deeper weights (113, 152, 182) and there are going to be more wide open weights, but I give the nod to 145 based on the potential final of #1 Colton Washleski of Hunterdon Central and #2 Max Brignola of Rumson. Both are returning District Champs, and both are 2-time AC Qualifiers. It will also be a big match in terms of the team competition.
Team Title Prediction
This has the potential to be a pretty good race for the Team Title. Hunterdon Central has the edge with their five tops seeds, but three of those weights (145-160) would see them matched up against three of Rumson's best, if the seeds hold. And with four top seeds, and three 2nd's, the potential is there for Piscataway to make a little noise here as well and possibly get involved if they have a big weekend from some of their other weights. Still, I think this one comes down to the Red Devils and the Bulldogs, and I'm going to say Hunterdon Central just edges Rumson out.
