Weight To Watch
I'm going with 145 here. In terms of the Team Title, this is a weight that both teams want. Well, I mean they want them all, really, but you know what I mean. The potential final here would pit #1 Evan Klimas of North Hunterdon, a 2-time Region Top 6 finisher against #2 Hunter Konstantoulas, a returning District Champ, and a State Qualifier. For both of them to get there, they'll have some tough competition with Klimas potentially facing #4 Ethan Keith (26-7) of East Brunswick in the semis, while Konstantoulas could potnetiall get #3 Zion Blanco (28-8) of New Brunswick, a 3rd-place finisher in the District last year, in his semifinal bout.
Team Title Prediction
Tough to be the Group 5 runner-up yet be an underdog in the District, yet that's where the Braves find themselves with North Hunterdon, who was voted as the state's top public school this year. The Braves are going to be very well represented on the podium, but I have to go with North Hunterdon here, while Shore Regional racks up a boatload of points off the backs of their hammers to finish 3rd.
