The Hornets had a streak of back-to-back seasons with a State Qualifier snapped last season. Nick Ammirati is participating in his 3rd Region Tournament. Victor Wladika is the Hornets' highest seed at #3 in the 170-pound bracket.

Keyport Red Raiders

The Red Raiders will be represented at the Regions for the third consecutive year. This year's entrant is senior Shane Zimmerman, who finished 3rd at Districts, who is seeded 8th at 182.


Manalapan Braves

Manalapan has not had a Region Champion since heavyweight John Appice won a Region 6 Title back in 2013. They received a pair of #1 seeds in undefeated 160-pounder Matt Benedetti, the program's all-time wins leader, and junior Gavin Claro, who earned the top seed at 195.In all, the Braves received four seeds in the Top 4 as they look to send multiple wrestlers through to AC for the 4th straight season.


Marlboro Mustangs

2011 is the last time the Mustangs had a Region Champion, it also the last time they had a wrestler medal at the tournament. A pair of Mustangs received seeds in the money, with Harrison Gordon at #2 at 106, and Zach Vasile getting the #3 at 132.


Matawan Huskies

The Huskies are sending four juniors to this years tournament as they look for their first Region Champ since 2010, and their first medal winners since 2017. David Rubin is the highest seeded Huskie's highest seeded wrestler, getting the #2 at 113.


Middletown South Eagles

South has not had a Region Champion since Nick Herring in 2012. They have a great shot with their talented freshman, Jack Zaleski, who received the #1 seed at 106. Fellow freshman David Hussey was also seeded in the Top 4 for South, receiving the #4 at 120. Six of South's seven Region participants all return next season.


Monmouth Regional Falcons

The Falcons, who are still looking for their first Region Champ, have multiple wrestlers at the Regions in back-to-back seasons, for the first time since 2008. Junior, Kevin Cartagena-Walsh is making his 2nd Region appearance and was seeded #8 at 145. Senior, Devon Pham is taking part in his first Region Tournament, and is seeded #10 at 126.


Red Bank Regional Bucs
6 Region Champs / Last: Lamar Brown in 2005 / Last State Qualifier: Edison Quesada in 2018
Entrants (3): (So) Phil Stolfa (126; 28-8) / (Sr) Tucker Cochrane (132; 25-11) / (Sr) Will DalPra (170; 18-19)

Phil Stolfa was a win away from punching a ticket to Atlantic City last season, finish in 5th Place. He is seeded 7th this year at 126. Tucker Cochrane is making his making his 2nd appearance at the Regions, qualifying as a sophomore in 2018, while fellow senior, Will DalPra, is appearing in his first Region.


Rumson Bulldogs

Junior Max Brignola and senior Liam Horan are making their 3rd Region appearances. Brignola has finished in 3rd in both of his previous tournaments, while Horan has finished 5th and 6th. Rumson received five Top 4 seeds. Max Brignola (145) and Jack Kelly (170) earned #1's, while Liam Horan (195) received a #3, and Aidan Shaughnessy (113) and Tyler Brignola (152) received #4's.


Shore Regional Blue Devils

Michael McGhee earned the top seed at 152, and Jack Maida and Al DeSantis were seeded 2nd, as the Blue Devils are searching for their first Region Champ since 2002. DeSantis is making his 4th Region appearance, and has medaled each time. It is the third Region Tournament for Maida and McGhee, while senior Cade Torres and junior Brendan Nicholas are taking part in the first Region.


St John Vianney Lancers

Dean Peterson enters the tournament riding a 64-bout win streak, and is gunning for his 2nd Region Title, which would make him the 2nd Lancer to accomplish that. This is the third Region Tournament for both Peterson, who also finished 2nd as a freshman, and Blake Clayton, who has finished 6th and 4th.
