SCHEDULE

Quarters: 10:00am
Semis: Immediate following Quarters
3RD/Finals: 4:30pm

Teams: BCIT, Cherry Hill West, Cinnaminson, Donovan Catholic, Eastern, Manchester, Paulsboro, Pennsauken, TR East, Triton

106: Top 4 seeds here are all freshmen. Paulsboro's Georgio Mazzeo ran away with the top-seed here. At #2 is Carlos Padua of Pennsauken who jumped from #4 based on his 6-5 head to head win over #3 Alexander Marter of Cinnaminson. It will be an all-Shore 4/5 with DC's Cael Rankin facing Manchester's Jonathan Salvemini, with the winner getting Mazzeo.

113: Cherry Hill West frosh John Howe jumped Paulsboro's Geno Duca (3rd D29 in '16) for the top seed with an 8-6 decision win. Another 4/5 matchup featuring Shore wrestlers as #4 Alexander Gorlin of TRE takes on #5 Jacob Maroukis of Donovan Catholic. At the 6-seed is Manchester's Eyup Yildirim (15-6) who draws freshman #3 Brailey Vargas (12-10) of Pennsauken in his opener.

120: Eastern senior Jordan Pinette is the top-seed and has a 3-1 victory over #2 Jacob Perez of Paulsboro to his credit. A big jump occurred here with Cherry Hill West frosh Kyle Edwards going from #7 to #3 with his pinfall win over #4 Jonathan Hernandez of Pennsauken. Edwards will open with the Shore's highest seed in this weight, #6 Tyler Huston of Manchester.

126: The top seed is Paulsboro's Anthony Duca, a 2-time D29 champion, and a State-qualifier in 2015. He is a sizable favorite here. The highest seeded wrestler from the Shore is #7 Dominic Tangredi of TRE who will open up with a prelim bout against Manchester's Ja'imeer Gaines. The winner gets #2 seed Jarrod Averill of Cinnaminson.

132: Joey Perez of Paulsboro is the #1 seed. He did not participate in last year's Districts, but finished 2nd in D29 in 2015. He already holds an 18-7 win over #2 Jacob Brocious of Eastern. The Shore's highest seeded wrestler is at #5 in Joseph Gamboa (18-15) of TRE. He'll battle Shane Tambussi (15-13) in the 4/5 match.

138: The Top 4 here have all had big seasons. Cinnaminson's Ryan Teague (23-2) is the top seed and was a D26 runner-up a year ago. Paulsboro's Sam Giordano is at #2. He's looking to get over the hump as he finished 4th in D29 in each of the previous two seasons. At #3 is Donovan Catholic's undefeated Cristiann Dailey, a 3rd-place finisher in D24 last season. #4 is 20-bout winner Ben Forsman of Eastern, who finished 4th in D28 in 2016.

145: The top six seeds here are all +.500 wrestlers, but the top seed, sophomore George Worthy of Paulsboro, is the favorite here. Worthy punched a ticket to AC as a frosh with a 2nd place finish in D29 and 3rd place performance in R8. #2 Devon Eddis jumped from #4 to #2 because of his pin over Xavier Barker back at the Haddon Twp Tournament. Eddis had a crack at Worthy a few weeks back, but was majored, 13-4.

152: Another top seed for Paulsboro, with their talented frosh, Brandon Green (29-3) grabbing the spot. At #2 is Donovan Catholic's Conor Panzarella (24-3) who was a D24 runner-up last season. Eastern junior Tanner Elridge (18-1) is at #3, while the #4 went to Shane Spence (10-12) of Cinnaminson who jumped Pennsauken's Fabian Melendez on the strength of a 6-4 win three weeks ago. Melendez will have his shot at revenge as they open up in the 4/5 bout.

160: He's the Shore's only top seed in this tournament, but he's a good one. AJ Meyers of TR East placed 2nd in the State at 152 last season, after winning the R6 and D24 titles. He enters the postseason at a perfect 22-0. The #2 seed is Paulsboro's Santino Morina who was one win shy of a trip to AC last season. Overall, there is a pretty decent field here with 7 of the 8 entrants having at least 12 wins, but you'd have to call Meyers vs Morina the favored final.

170: Back to another top-seed for Paulsboro with sophomore Anthony Morina (3rd D29) getting the nod here. Another sophomore is at #2 in Cherry Hill West's Dominic Ummarino. BCIT checks in with their highest seed, #3 Evan Chagnon. The high seed for the Shore is #5 Quint Kearns who faces Cinnaminson's Eren Baysal in the 4/5

182: Pennsauken's Briheem Tyson, placed 3rd at 182 in D28 last season, and is the top seed. At #2 is 20-2 sophomore TJ Franden of Eastern, who was 3rd in D28 at 170 in 2016. He holds a pinfall victory over the #3 seed here, Dimitri Serrano of Cherry Hill West. Perhaps the most dangerous #4 seed in the whole tournament is here in Cinnaminson's Shaun Davilla. Davilla was the D26 champ at 170 last season, but missed most of this year which held back his pre-seed points.

195: Cherry Hill West's Jayson Peralta was the pre-seed #1, but was jumped by the original #3 Josh Bailey of, you guessed it, Paulsboro, giving the Red Raiders yet another #1 seed. At #3 is Donovan Catholic's Salvatore DiSalvo, a D24 runner-up in 2016. He has a familiar opponent in his opener in Manchester's Blaise Lawson, whom he pinned in a dual earlier this year.

220: #1 James Thompson of Pennsauken was a D28 runner-up and 4th-place finisher in R7 in 2016. He's gone 28-1 this season, with the lone loss coming back in the season opening George Maier Tournament. At #2 is Paulsboro's Frank Mooney who jumped up from #4 because of a 5-3 win over #3 Andrew Halecki (3rd D26 in '16) of Cinnaminson and a pinfall over #4 Brandon Moore (3rd D27 in '16) of Cherry Hill West.

Hwt: Cherry Hill West's #1 Lorenzo Hernandez was the D27 runner-up at heavyweight last season. He's 28-1 on the season and comes in on a 26-bout win streak. At the #2 spot is Cinnaminson's unbeaten Keith Swartley. Swartley is a 2-time D26 and R7 champion, and was one victory shy of a medal in AC last season. At #3 is Triton's 22-2 senior Jake Brown, a runner-up in D30 last season. The Shore's only entrant at this weight is Brandon Austin who draws Swartley is his opener.
